The American Household Digital Finance Survey: An Overview

The American Household Digital Finance Survey aims to learn about what people in America think about some of he new options for managing their finances.

Participating households have been scientifically selected to represent thousands of other people across the country. If you received our invitation you participation is very important because it will help the study accurately represent people like you.

If you received our invitation, are 18 years or older, and have some knowledge of your household’s finances, we ask you to complete our web survey. You will receive $30 for completing our brief survey.

We are grateful to all of our study participants!

More information about the study: University of Michigan Survey Research Center uses scientific sampling methods to select a small group of households which represent people across the country.

Our web survey asks questions about how you (or others in your family) manage your finances and use current and emerging investment options, about the attitudes and opinions you may have about investment risks, and about your confidence in different institutions involved in financial and investment regulation.

The study director is Dr. Vikramaditya Khanna, Professor of Law, University of Michigan. This research is sponsored by Coinbase, a cryptocurrency exchange platform. Unrelated to this project, Dr. Vikramaditya Khanna, serves as a paid consultant for Coinbase.
